Our Programs

The Building Block School for the Arts has several program offerings, starting with our homeschool arts. We teach homeschoolers who excels in creativity from academics to performance as well as visual arts, including cooking, art, and literary arts. We also have a wonderful after school program for young artists who crave an experience in many different mediums and young performers; from the performer who is just getting into the thrill of their gifting, to the performer who wants to develope their skill and is ready for the artistic critisism required to grow and develop-beyond the applause. Literary Arts

Speech, writing, and reading are crucial to building a strong foundation for a community of passionate people. We have classes for the beginner and the intermediate students as well as adults. All of our classes are for developing the gift and the skills involved in the creative arts.
 

Performance

Homeschool arts and after school arts offers an opportunity to learn and grow our skills along with performing periodically during the day for nursing homes, schools and communities.

PRIVATE LESSONS/MUSIC

We have lessons in, guitar, piano, ukulele, violin, voice and drums

Choir

Learning to sing is a wonderful opportunity, but learning to sing together, is priceless. We have a children’s choir, and teen choir that meets weekly. We would love to have your voice!

Science

Science classes, STEAM classes as well as Chemistry and Biology are all offered in our Homeschool Arts program.

Mathematics

Well, what can we say about math… “because we have to”… ? No way, we love math and our math is creative and project based for cirtical and creative problem solvers! Your creative child will thrive in this environment! This is a part of our Homeschool Arts program.

ART

Our art classes offer an experience of art in all different mediums, from clay to chalk to charcoal and acrylics. We also have the talented Art Lady, Jamie Moon, joining us via zoom this fall for our advanced artists.

IMPROV

Classes in improv for the beginner through adult. We mostly focus on Short Form, but also have special workshops for Longform.
